A Nightmare on Elm Street review

Posted : 14 years, 3 months ago on 29 June 2010 06:38 (A review of A Nightmare on Elm Street)

For a remake it wasnt as bad as I thought it was going too be. I did find some scenes that were a blantant ripoff from the original. Nancy's friend Kris gets killed the same exact way in the original, hell they even put her in the same shirt. The scent in the bathtub with Nancy straight out of the first movie, Freddy seemily coming out of the wall as Nancy falls asleep, and last but not least the scene with Kris being dragged down the hall in the body bag. I mean if you're going to remake a movie at least be original about it. Other than were they ripped off scenes from the 1st movie it was a ok movie pretty good story line. Jackie did alright as Freddy, but we all know IRL he can't RObert Englund's Freddy's jock strap/....lol

Paranormal Activity review

Posted : 14 years, 5 months ago on 10 May 2010 03:55 (A review of Paranormal Activity)

Not a bad movie. Reminded alot of The BLair Witch Project. Definately one of those movies to watch but after you watch it once it looses alot. I give it a 6 out of 10 stars simply coz the ended seemed rushed and out of nowhere. Ending could of been better in my opinion. But to see once I would say see it

I'm still currently playng this game, and I can honestly say this one of the greatest games I've ever played. The graphics are insane the gameplay is easy to understand. I highly recommend this game to anyone who's a Batman fan

Good Movie

Posted : 14 years, 7 months ago on 16 February 2010 01:34 (A review of A Perfect Getaway)

I rented this movie for my girlfriend & I to watch on Valentines Day. We were both wanting to see this movie when it first came out but it definately wasnt one to take her daughter to. So I rented it last weekend. The in all is a really good movie. Definately hd you guessing till the the end who the killers are. A little confusing as far as the story telling.

SPOILER ALERT DONT READ ANY FURTHER

The confusing part for me was if the 2 main characters were the killers then why through the entire movie with the scenes just between them they acted like they were afraid of the other couple as if they were the killers. To go even as far as having a scene in the tent by themselves thinking of excuses on how theyre going to get away from the other couple. I just feel they could of handled the screen play a lil better in that aspect. I mean watch Scream now thats how you do a script and get totally blnd sided by who the killers were.

Seen Better

Posted : 14 years, 8 months ago on 14 January 2010 02:40 (A review of Halloween II (Unrated Version))

Not sure where to start on this. To be honest the only thing that comes to mind is that saying "The Sequel is never as good as the Original" I went into this expecting a great sequel. Rob Zombie did such a great job on the first one I was expecting the unfortunately I was more lost and confused after the movie was over. I honestly think Rob was tripping on acid when he wrote the script for the sequel. I would like to read Rob Zombie's take on the movie, maybe if I understood what he was the thinking the movie would make more sense too me. But who knows this is Rob Zombie we're talking about...lol

Good Movie Fun

Posted : 14 years, 11 months ago on 5 November 2009 04:08 (A review of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra)

Not bad for what it is. Not as campy as lets say Speed Racer. But pretty good, great CGI & special effects. Storyline pretty good. Down falls to the movie Dennis Quaid as General Hawk, and the kid from 3rd Rock from the sun as Cobra Commander. Costumes where great except for giving Snake Eyes lips. What the hell that all about? First Optimus Prime and now Snake Eyes. For good old fashion fun when watching a movie definately one to check out

One of the better in ther series

Posted : 15 years, 2 months ago on 27 July 2009 04:39 (A review of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince)

I went into this hoping for the best of the series cosidering its my 2nd fav book in the series, but what I got was a good movie, but alot of the changes from the book to the movies upset me. Thats why I didnt give it a 10/10.

SPOILERS ALERT SPOILERS ALERT

Just to name a few things that upset me. Harry & Ginny relationship one of the best parts of the book is a small part in the movie. Plenty of scenes thatwould of been great Ron Witnessing Harry & Ginny kissing after the match. ROn geting jealous. When Harry & Dumbledore got to the cliffs to retrieve the Horacrux when Dumbledore's drinking the liquid, the bok was 10x more intense. Then of course the biggest dissappointment Dumbledore's funeral not even mentioned or seen in the movie. With them splitting up the last movie into a 2 parter Im expecting David Yates to finally get it right.

But for a ovie in general it was a good movie

Dragggggggged out

Posted : 15 years, 6 months ago on 30 March 2009 01:59 (A review of Twilight)

Being one of the few that havent read any of the books and not knowing anything I came into this movie with a clean slate and open mind. Aferwards I came out with ALOT of ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ'z on the board. Im sorry this movie could of been done in 90 minutes and probably would of made it a better movie. Vision wise the movie was good, Good special effects, story wise it drag to much. I found myself bored doring the middle of the movie. WOndering when the action is going to happen. I'm hoping they learn from their mistakes nd the second one is ALOT better
