I rented this movie tonight, and I got to admit for the most part it wasn't a bad movie. With it being a little under and 1 hr 30 mins. it's just right for these type of movies. My only problem was how comical Leatherface looks. A tie? Seriously? If you're having doubts about this movie, go ahead and see it you won't be dissappointed

I never really wanted to see this movies, simply because I was a fan of the TV series. After watching it last night now I know why i didnt want to watch this movie. Saying this movies was bad would be an understatement. This movie was aweful. Don't waist your time go buy the series on DVD.

All in all not a bad movie, but save yhour money and watch the original 10x better. The remake is cute, but over 75% of the movie is word for word of the original. Ive never saw the remake till tonite and I could quote the movie word for word for the most part. Better off watching the original yhou'll like it more

I wasn't too impressed with this one as much as I was with Hatchet. I only watched this one coz Danielle Harris was in it. The storyline itself wasn't bad, it was the special effects that ruined it for me. The kills were cheezy and badly done. For example ***SPOILER ALERT***

In the first 5 minutes of the movie a guy gets his intestines pulled out through his stomach and Victor Crowley wraps them around the victims neck and proceeds to pop his head off.

I had so much hope for this movie, especially after seeing the first one, unfortunately this movie was a major let down.

This movie was better than I expected it too be. Being a fan of the original, I went into this one not knowing what too expect. And what I got was a pretty solid movie. I reminded me of a Buffy / Angel episode, and when I saw Marti Noxon wrote the screen play I knew why. I really enjoued the movie and will be adding it too my DVD collection when it comes out.

Overall this wasn't a bad movie. I personally believe it was mistitled. THis movie was more X-Men Origins: Professor X & Magneto mixed into on movie. As an avid comic collector I'm personally insulted that they even called this movie X-Men 1st Class when there was only 2 members of that group in the movie Professor X & Beast. But as fas as the movie itself goes it was good. Best Movie of the Summer? I would have to say no to that. I can name at least 2 movies I found 10 x better this movie. And it's definately not the best X-Men movie either. If you're not a die hard X-Men fan like myself, then you'll probably love this movie and give it praise. If you remotely know anything about the Marvel universe and the X-Men you'll most likely have mixed feelings about this movie like I did.

All in all I was REALLY disappointed in this game. They done great with all the games till this point. SOmeone at EA thought it would be cool to turn the Harry Potter games franchise into a 1st person shooter game, and it doesn't work. What made the other games fun for me was all the task and things you had to do in order to to complete the game. THis games could of been so much fun, but they went and screwed things up, and with part II being basically the same game Im not even waisting my time on it. For all my fellow Potter fans out there, dont waist your money go buy Lego Harry Potter. YOu'll have more fun with it.

Not a bad movie overall, just not what I was expecting. Hal Jordan is just the narrator of the movie. SO I was a lil let down he wasnt involbed in the story more. It basically tells the story of 4 or 5 differents laterns, with a side story of Hal Jordan training a new recruit

All in all not a bad movie. Worth watching, think War of the Worlds in a way. The special effects were good, the overall storyline was good. I will be honest the ending left little too be desired. TO me it seened like they ran out of ideas on how too end the movie. The ending needed work.
